Kim, tenor · Simon Amend, bass Kantorei, Kammerchor and Orchestra of the Martinskirche Münsingen Parts I–III Parts IV–VI ---------------------------------------------------------------- BIOGRAPHY Alexander Kim grew up in the United States and studied church music at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he earned a Bachelor of Music summa cum laude, and at the Evangelische Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Tübingen, where he completed the B-Examen. His teachers include Denis Rouger, Dr. Anton Armstrong, Mihaly Zeke, Marius Mack (choral conducting), Dr. Catherine Rodland, KMD Ingo Bredenbach (organ), Wendy Hillhouse, and Guillermo Anzorena (voice). He served as cantor at First English Lutheran Church in Faribault, Minnesota, before moving to Germany. He later worked as a guest teacher at the Martin Luther Schule in Rimbach, Hesse, and as cantor in Königsfeld in the Black Forest. Since 2026 he has worked as a tenor, voice teacher, and choral conductor in Tübingen and Stuttgart.
